Islamabad: Six terrorists have been killed in a conflict with safety forces in Pakistan’s southwest Balochistan province on Sunday, a navy assertion stated.
The safety forces launched an operation after receiving a tip-off relating to the presence of terrorists in a mountainous vary of the province, the navy’s media wing Inter-Companies Public Relations (ISPR) stated within the assertion.
When the troops began a clearance operation within the space, terrorists tried to flee from their hideout and opened fireplace on safety forces, the assertion added.
In retaliatory fireplace, six terrorists belonging to the banned outfit Balochistan Liberation Entrance have been killed, stated the assertion, Xinhua information company reported.
“The terrorists have been concerned in assaults on safety forces posts apart from latest planting of improvised explosive units on safety forces convoys,” the ISPR stated.
Arms and ammunition have been seized from the hideout of the terrorists, who supposed to make use of them for disrupting peace and safety within the space, the assertion stated.
