A house on the real estate market in Cincinnati, Ohio for $2.99 million is a popular social media page thanks to its basement that doesn’t match the rest of the stunning home decor.
Looking at the photos of the six-bedroom, nine-bathroom residence, the charming decor and large rooms stand out. From the double curved staircase to its chic kitchen, almost all of its 8,347 square feet is filled with beauty.
And then comes the basement.
Which of course is self-evident.
Sure, the brightly decorated space has plenty of cool amenities including:
Indoor basketball court
Indoor hot tub
But it’s precisely this 1980s atmosphere that Zillow Gone Wild is a bit confusing.
“My brain is having a hard time trying to understand how different the basement is from the rest of this beautiful house,” said one person.
“I’m strangely drawn to this house. Fascinated, and a little scared, but I think I like it,” commented another.
“I’m…confused,” someone expressed. “Did they want the house to look impressive or a mess? Lots of themes here. I’ve described another ZGW house like this, and I’ll use it here: This house is a visual cacophony. There’s so much going on. Is.”
“Called in the late ’80s. They want their bowling alley and recreation center carpet back,” one person joked.
“Came here for an amazing ‘saved by bull’ memorabilia collection. Left disappointed, said another. “I was so excited. Very excited. Now I’m so scared…
“Wait is that all the same house? Looks like 5 different houses in one!” someone commented.
The home, which sits on more than five acres in a “park-like setting,” is currently a pending offer, according to the online listing.
